In
Italy, roast and style preferences differ as you travel from North to
South. The lighter roasts are popular in the rugged, mountainous North,
while Italians in the warmer, drier South prefer darker blends. Each of
the eight blends have been carefully crafted to reflect the varied
tastes of the people throughout Italy. Each blend is named after an
Italian city, with the roast becoming darker as the city names move
from North to South.
